Superfeet called from Blacksburg, VA. Cocoa Bean (Chris) was kind enough to pick up the group of six hikers from the Homeplace Restaurant on Saturday. There were 7 people crammed in her Ford Taurus headed for the VA Tech campus, where Chris is a student. Apparently, Traction's sister was at the Homeplace while Superfeet was there. The group had just finished McAfee Knob. Superfeet said he got some incredible photos using Stone Passer's camera. Not much news - Superfeet's miles left to hike are under 200 and he's not anxious to finish because he's enjoying the group he's hiking with. I asked if he was tempted to keep hiking after Damascus just to stay with the group but he said it was "too cold." Thanks for reading.
